In The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening for Nintendo Switch, you'll help Link escape from a rather strange place. You'll befriend a colorful cast of characters, battle myriad monsters, and explore perilous labyrinths in a classic adventure reimagined with a captivating new twist! Caught by surprise by a storm, Link is shipwrecked on a mysterious tropical island populated by strange people and bizarre creatures. To return home, our brave hero will have to obtain enchanted musical instruments scattered across the island to awaken the wind fish from his long sleep. Even though the inhabitants of Koholint seem like oddballs, they are friendly people and will help Link on his mission. Let's try to meet some of them! Thanks to the equipment and objects he finds during his journey, Link will be able to explore new regions of the island and reveal its arcane mysteries. Some items can also be traded with natives. Even if you were shipwrecked, with minigames and other amenities your life on Koholint won't be boring at all! Here are some tourist spots not to be missed during Link's adventure. During the adventure, Link will find tile stones that can be arranged in such a way as to create real tile mazes! Try combining the various tiles as you like: place the entrance, put puzzles, keys, bosses and everything that comes to mind. But remember, no tile maze is complete if whoever created it can't beat it! If you have an amiibo from The Legend of Zelda series (sold separately), you can unlock additional tiles and save your favorite mazes for safe keeping. There's also this adorable Link amiibo that will be available at launch that will let you place Shadow Link as an opponent in your tile mazes!
